Computer Studies versus English ...

all access to these studies have been free to me ... but for ease of slipping into studies with minimum fuss it has to be the Computer Studies and the Exams took last term.

Computer Studies

With the computer course was the initial meeting for suitability or whatever. On starting I was eased into it very well with the protocol of how it all worked. The area for all the exercises is in a book case, where you take the relevant folder you work on.

And a place to access your file easily with your work sheet so you can jot down where you are each week ... and for all the work you print off ... as you progress. And you have a foot rest which makes it more comfortable to work .

I was already logged in the system too; on arrival for the very first time. 

The session lasts two and half hours; with an half an hour break to socialise and rest from the screen. 

Taster Days and Exam Days 

With all the taster courses and exam days; they did the house keeping and rules and regs and intros. And promptly started ... into the smooth running of what you are there for, with lunch provided, and transport paid up to £10.

Outstanding...

English 

Tutors outstanding and in same situation ... did not know about assessment re-take ...

In the real world again ...

• No housekeeping
• No rules and regs 
• No breaks 
• Not already on the system; so all access the assessment at the same time and not waiting in a queue
• Making best use of time for all and our travel costs where applicable...
• Especially as we had half hour less 
• We were given a two hour band when we did our assessment last term 
• It stressed tutors and students alike having that half an hour less which was not conducive to working at the right level for the next year
