we are cluttering up society in so many aspects ... landfill ... unnecessary packaging for health and safety and the minority who might taper with it ... but that is the byproduct of super and hyper markets that have been built over the last decades in many places and the way greed has moved forward ...
In my Cornish town where I grew up ... it still has the array of shops on the high street ... to take a traditional basket and fill it with goodies ... for example fruit and veg straight in said basket from the shelf ... no packaging here ... beauty ...
It is re-adjusting back to that after this ...
And there is still these supermarkets outside of the towns in this area ...
